Hello capchassuck,
What's the range of this transmitter ?
-
It looks like it should work.
Nice capacitor.
-
hope you have a comercial licence, that transistor can easily put put 1000 times over legal power, likely even much more.

thanks ;)

What type of transistor do you use???...Is that a 2N3055 power transistor???

@Eliastrs yes it is i got it at radio shack but the transmitter itself was cannibleized about a year ago i intend to build another hartly to use as a signanal generator that can double as a low power transmitter soon. right now i got a dynamotor powerd moped waiting on a 48 v driver motor and batterys :(

Does the tx audio normally sound like crap, or is your recording just over modulated?
How bout a schematic?

a little bit of both plus cheap lap top mic and am band the schematic is on
{the radio board} web site i tried giving kudos but you tube dose not allow it google up the web site and go on the {other} forum, i posted a topic on frequency absorption transmitters
and in the topic theirs a tube and transistor version in complete detail, it just so happens the last guy commenting is the one who gave it to me..

oh, almost forgot, what scematic did you use?

i tend to use big bulky transistors at low power about 100mw strong it appears to be an air core coil i have a ferret rod in the hidden coil its pretty weak without it .you of all people should know this schematic
{hint} i answered your post at the radio board(o_0)
