Thanks for catching that HH. Was a typo; probably had "searching for the lost chord" by the Moody Blues on my mind =)
-
do you mean
searching for the sound by phil
you have searching for the chord written down
-
I didn't know that Steve Parish wrote a book.

I agree totally. A Long Strange Trip was the first Dead book I bought a few weeks ago because, at the age of 17, I wanted to learn all about the entire history since I was only 5 when it ended.

That was great JDarks. I pretty much agree with a few exceptions. Phil's "Searching for the Chord" is incredible. It is an honest, insightful, and genuinely touching book which not only provides insight on the band, but on his own life, which I enjoyed greatly. Second, Perish's book was rediculous. He has so much to share, and spent most of the book talking about the sexual adventures of the road crew, like seriously, any of us really care. -Terrapinonline
Is that a cuban montecristo #2? I had a Hoyo De Monterrey cuban a while back. Still love the #2s though. And the Grateful Dead. Rock Scully's book had some great anecdotes. Should be taken with a grain of salt.
