FACE The Challenge China/American adoptions - MissionVision Productions

Producer-Director Brad Houston of MissionVision Productions has produced a number of videos for FACE The Challenge, inc. over the years. Mr. Houston also serves on it's Board of Directors.

FACE The Challenge was founded by Randolph C. Robinson, MD, DDS, cranio-maxillo-facial surgeon, and his wife, Ginger Holmes Robinson, BSN, RN (cardiac and critical care). Since the late 1970's, they shared a dream to offer their medical services to the world's needy. FACE The Challenge, inc. exists to show the compassion of Christ by providing medical care primarily for children, but also for adults, in developing countries. By using the gifts of mercy and the latest skills in medicine, FACE The Challenge desires to improve the lives of all with whom it comes into contact with.

Thus, with the legal counsel of their friend, Mr. James E. Ringenberg of Ft. Collins, Colorado, they established FTC in December 1993. They chose the name "Face the Challenge" for this non-profit humanitarian organization to honor their mutual friend and mentor, Mr. Robert D. Foster, former manager of Lost Valley Ranch, a working guest ranch near Deckers, CO where Ginger's family spent seven summer vacations. Ginger subsequently worked on staff, and then she brought Randy and their three children to vacation in the early 1990s. Mr. Foster has authored The Challenge, "a biweekly letter from the heart of man to men" since he first wrote to encourage World War II service personnel while abroad. Since it was Randy and Ginger's desire to emphasize facial surgeries in the name of the organization, "Face the Challenge" fit well.
