My sisters 2.0 liter 4 Cyl. Genesis Coupe makes the same amount of power and 0-60 as this 4.0 liter V6. Also, selling a lot of something doesn't mean it is good. Twilight sells a lot of tickets, Drake sells a lot of albums, and millions of people watch Jersey Shore, doesn't make them great, or even good.

@scbman youre right, but dont compare your sisters brand new genesis to this very old V6 engine. It's good for what it is and mine with a few bolt ons today runs pretty good. Also, there is the price to consider. Your sisters genesis is a lot more expensive than this. Anyways I imported this car to Israel where mustangs are not sold, so driving this type of car here is truley one of a kind experience. With that said, I am looking forward to upgrading to a V8.

@talibanulafgan No mate it improves.....drastically.  The 4.0 engine was smothered to death actually causing bad mpg. Mine is getting 3-5mpg better. They rate it at 17mpg combined. But my computer is saying 21mpg combined now. Thats pretty drastic improvement. Just don't expect much from it stock.

@scbman My point was, my friend, is that the 4.0 stock is crap. But the engine itself is a beast of a v6 with being only .4 litres smaller than the V8 when properly let to breathe it's a really harsh engine. Caroll Shelby built Terlingua V6's generating 400hp at the fly. There are naturally aspirated V6's pulling time of a 2010 GT stock in the low 13's. Mine is highly modified and the issue is if they opened it up it would have competed too strongly with the 4.6L and piss off the fanbase.
