This fall's student dance concert included Ryu Kyu by Isaburoh Hanayagi, an expert in a variety of Japanese dance and performance styles. A master teacher and performer, Hanayagi, or Isaburoh-sensei as he is known to his students, is this academic year's Cornell Visiting Professor. This fall, he and Associate Professor of Japanese William Gardner co-taught The World of Japanese Drama and Performance for the first time.
