Mist 1.0 - A Myst Parody

If you haven't played Myst, (I don't know where you were during the Early Nineties) Go and download RealMyst from Gametap right Now!!!

If you HAVE Played it, you may enjoy this short, and painfully hand-drawn (on the computer) parody of Myst.

I chose the Title "Mist" for obvious reasons. (Incorrect Searches, People looking for Mist, etc.)

Please note that I do not intend for the Paint drawings to compare in any way to the groundbreaking 3-D pictures in Myst, it's just all I could do.

hmm, i don't get it. i beat the original myst just a few months ago and never played realmyst, so can anyone explain what's being parodied here? apparently realmyst had some serious flaws compared to the original, but anything more specific?

Theres not really any joke to get, it's just a parody of the original, prerendered version of Myst. Realmyst was a remake of Myst in full 3D, rendered in "real time". It got bad reviews mostly because it wasn't really anything new.
