The first set of Hylden demons remind me of the Femur zoanoids in the Guyver series.

the only think they never explain is how Janos knows Raziels name and that he was waiting for him.
i remember I started freaking out when the red, horned demons appeared, how the fuck am i going to beat them. Then I just let the reaver go crazy and went to town on these fools.

I like how these creatures resemble the last boss in the first Blood Omen. It shows some thought was put into this series from every angle.
