ひぐらしのなく頃に絆 / Higurashi no naku koro ni : Rena Crying

First off : Sorry for the just awful sound quality. The camera I used barely picks up sound, so I attatched a dying stereo set to my DS.

From the third game of the four game series. When first playing this scene I felt a slight lump in my throat. This was definitely more powerful than the anime.

This is from the Tsumihoroboshi-hen arc. Rena's friends find her with the corpses of Teppei and Rina that Rena dismembered. After explaining how her friends couldn't help her, feeling hopeless and alone laughter ends in tears.

Is Kizuna the version of the story where, in the very end, Hanyuu dies? I read on the Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni that the final arc of the series, Miotsukushi-hen, Hanyuu dies helping everyone defeat Takano. I might be wrong though...but I've been trying to find that ending.
