  • IA in what rate?

  • @Skribduex I was a CT(T) Electronic Warfare type. Worked at the EWCC as a Mission Plans and analysis NCO in Baghdad.

  • are these groups all located under one group known as th necc cause i hear of different sea side worrior groups like IA, GSA, MSRON, VBSS, and Riverine Squadron can someone help cause i want to be a seaside worrior that is located in the navy i dont want to be a marine no offence to marines respect them but i dont want to be them my friends and family say it sucks to be a marine though the riverine squadron are trained by marines and blackwater well anyways can someone tell me if they are necc

  • @MrMonkeygorilla Negative Ghostrider... NECC was in-charge of IA and GSA sailors. They go to the hot zones. Riverines are SPECWAR and also go hot. I was also on a VBSS squad myself before my GSA, VBSS is attached to a parent ship not NECC, and any sailor can do it so long as your superiors nominate you, you show you are physically able, and are an Expert ranked rifleman. Side note, Blackwater renamed themselves to Xi a while back. Call up a local recruiter for sure.

  • the music could be better...

  • @davisevan11 AGREED! Music was originally by "He Is Legend". But It was a little to awesome cause it was flagged for copyright, so Youtube gave me this nice tranquil elevator music in order to keep the video up.

  • I really wanna do this.

  • @fleetr06 Can all rates go for this? I know they told us Corpsmen about it but I had no clue everyone else could.

  • @Marshall1002 its your decision. they wont force u to do it

  • Haha, I love seeing sailors at MTC. The mix & match uniforms are hilarious.

  • For those wondering, Im in an aviation rate. We get asked to go IA too but most often to Gitmo or Kuwait. I have a few squadron mates who did tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. It all depends on your command and the needs of the navy. Props to all of us who volunteered.

  • @fleetr06 haha, that's hilarious!
