She received a 6.0 despite the fall. Janet was the real winner of the Olympics--in skating history,, at least.

even with the fall - as Dick Button says, it wasn't a fall that distracted from the program - she handled it so well that it really made no difference. What is so different about Janet is that at the moments when one would normally look away because it feels like the tension is lifting she raises the bar and holds your attention. Amazing athlete, artist and ambassador for the sport. And the "slow part" is as beautiful and hold the attention as much as the rest - it's not boring.
