The locomotive was sold new to the Berlin Mills Railway, then sold to the Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad where it ran up to being sold to the Down East Scenic.

@GP9railfan Well I need to get down to Ellsworth more often. This was the first day of operation, they are now on a regular schedule, Saturdays and Sundays, two trips a day.
