When attendees to the Defcon hacking conference in Las Vegas pick up their badges this week, they'll notice something they've never seen before on a Defcon badge, a programmable persistent display that will work even without batteries.

  • Awesome, but nothing will ever beat Defcon 3, where we duct taped the doors shut on a FBI/NSA van and then ordered them a pizza. That was hilarious * 10. You have no idea.

  • @Corr0sive Well I assumed an OLED due to the fact that it maintains its screen without power

  • @AICorp Probable just a monochrome-ish LCD. OLED would be extremely expensive for this.

  • Im assuming it's some sort of OLed?
