@timmye00 ...wow, you actually know nothing about humanism, do you? It has nothing to do with us being gods or becoming gods. Most humanists don't even believe in gods. Humanism simply seeks to address human concerns and problems, bring out the best in us, and recognize that we alone can make our lives better...that waiting for magical intervention is foolish.

We see how society does when rape and murder are the norm, how it causes others to suffer. If we live in a society where these things, rape, murder and theft are common, we too eventually suffer. It's a great big perpetual circle of stupidity and suffering. If you want, you could go to Somalia, see how your wife and children do there without these morals. I assume you think morals come from god(s)- yet these gods commanded those very atrocities....Intereseting.
