Yes. In doing the poetry readings, what has surprised me is how many of the poems that echo in my head are those written by Rudyard Kipling. I wasn't aware of that until I wanted poems to share. Unknown to me at the time, Kipling must have had a huge impact in making me who I am and defining what I value.
