Your ridgeback is just like mine! They are big babies sometimes! My boy Bryce doesn't like the water either. We can't wait for him to go in one day. Not sure if it'll happen.

Never heard of Rhodesians "hating water" -thats bullshit. They may hate baths - mine did, but they love the beach,river,creek whatever. If yours "hates" it, he/she just deosn't know that they LIKE it yet. Mine would only fetch in water.Anyways, this video so reminds me of mine (RIP) they are so eager to be close to you. They are the ULTIMATE breed of dog -in all areas-protection,hunting,loyalty,family,whatever.There is no comparison or equal !!

rhodesians are supposed to hate water, mine loves the water. he jumps in my pool on a daily basis. when i say jump I mean jump, that boy can jump like like a 12 foot gap.
