Carly & Lawrence: Lisanne's Death

(I posted this literally years ago when I wasn't planning on posting the whole Carly & Lawrence storyline but now .. well, now this deserves a proper recap.)

Behold the trouble interior of the collective mind of the Days wardrobe department: turbans, gigantic necklaces and whatever it is that Julie's wearing. Lisanne continues to taunt Vivian that she KNOWS about her secret. Because that's how you blackmail someone, by repeatedly talking about their secret within earshot of several hundred people. Viv manages to hold her head up despite it all and by all I mean those earrings and that necklace. Back at La Alamain Lisanne unleashes her plans to marry Lawrence and "get rid of the kid" (this is prime mom material here!). Viv unleashes a can of whoopass.

Squick fans will savor the moment when Lisanne says she knows why Viv did it all. No, she doesn't say that Viv wanted to get Lawrence in the sack herself but for about 3 seconds it seems like she just might.
Vivian's catfight with Lisanne Gardner has fatal results. Big drama, big hair, bigger earrings. Classic Days.

Lisanne obviously didn't know Vivian too well, if she was going to expose her she should have just done it rather than try to threaten and manipulate her. She obviously wasn't as cunning and clever as she made herself out to be.

As Lisanne, Lynn Herring became a Red herring. It was odd to see her appear in the same soap as her hubby and have no interaction.

Lisanne wore out her welcome she was good for the brief time she was on I loved her as Lucy though.
