  • had this 9 weeks ago and & still in pain, Of course i waited 5 yrs before the surgery but i think i am a lifer, as in i will be in pain for life i mean the pain was bad for 5 year but got worse so i seen the doc and a week later i was in the O.R. getting this done. Take my Advice get the surgery a.s.a.p don't wait surgery is nothing to worry about you lay on the table and suck alittle gas and drift off into a sleep. my doc was really good i don't blame him for my pain i blame myself for waiting

  • I'm having this surgery in two weeks and I'm only 16. Glad it goes pretty smooth for people.

  • I had my Labral repaired and my Hip Bone shaved. I had FAI (Femoral Acetabular Impingement) and I was out of the hospital the same day. Get a nerve block or you will suffer when you wake up.

  • How long is the patient in the hospital.

  • @angeliquemkelley I am getting ready for a labral tear op. Can you describe what the pain was like? I have soreness in it now, but it doesn't really "hurt." I thought it was not a major tear, but they told me it was.

  • @angeliquemkelley How has your recovery gone? I have to have this exact surgery on both hips and wanted a perspective from someone who has gone through it.

  • Just had mine repaired two weeks ago. I can walk without my crouches already. Not without a little limp but getting stronger everyday. The surgery was not as painful as the everyday or the extreme sporadic pain I was experiencing prior. I have to do my second hip in about four months. Can't wait to do normal activities again.

  • i am going for my per op appointment friday, im 22 . i am a highschool basketball coach. never thought id be injured from coaching lol

  • I've been having trouble rotating my left hip...notice that turning to my right causes a lot of pain! It also clicks...I think I have this same issue.

  • @seaa3seaa i jus got mine done 2 days ago. mine didnt appear on mri or xray tho but they said im going 2 be on crutches for a week and 4 months for recovery

    17 yrs of age
