How the hell can a Tool fan be so fucking ignorant? Tool is among the few noteworthy bands out there and their fan base is typically known to have some brains. You sir, are an exception. Everything you here by Converge that is "out of time" or "off pitch" is all part of their chaotic appeal. Be a little more open minded before you start bashing one of the most innovative bands in the industry.

Youve got shit teachers then. These guys are the pioneers of modern extreme music, respected since the 90s, always doing new things, pushing the envelopes of their genre. Converge, along with a few other bands are who shape today's metal. The vocalist is screaming which doesn't have an exact pitch, therefore he can't be off pitch. I don't know a lot about guitars, but this band wouldn't be so respected if their "bends were way off". Heavy music is not for everyone tho, you can go back to Tool...
