Business Sutra attempts to answer that question through a special series of conversations with well known mythologist Devdutt Pattanaik. Pattanaik believes that mythological stories along with symbols and rituals are the tools through which our ancestors shared their wisdom, wisdom that is relevant even in modern times. Business Sutra is an attempt to make the wisdom of mythology accessible and applicable to the corporate world.

Hosted by Menaka Doshi, Business Sutra will, over 4-5 episodes, discuss the purpose of a corporation, short term goals versus long term ideals, leadership qualities, dharma sankat and modern day business conflicts, ownership versus management, the lifecycle of a business and similiar issues pertaining to Leadership & Governance.

Kudos to both the anchor and the expert! Gr8 job.. Anchor poses genuine questions and seems always interested. While expert is also great to listen to.. while I may not agree completely with him about his explanation to mythology.. nevertheless..

if rules does not exist there is anarchy and chaos is a western construct??? King enforces rule and order by slaying the dragons.

Its very much an Indian construct where King enforces rule and order by slaying Rakshas. "Raghukul reeti or laws". In recent times the great King Ashoka laid rules that is to govern and bring order. I doubt he had any western influence.
