I feel like movies nowadays are shit. If you look at old black and white movies, they had an idea that was developed over a period of time. As with music, movies are being milked for everything they've got.

@AnticScarab3 The whole point is that there were these scraps of dialogue and directors created a whole concept from that. Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it's 'lazy'.

I really hate this kind of film making. It's like someone had some cool imagery in mind, but was too lazy to create a storyline to go with it, so he just hinted at a story as an excuse to get the image of his futuristic society out there.

What I would rather see is the same video, but with no mysterious box and no plot. Why not just show the scenery? The few "mysterious" lines of dialogue are just meaningless teasers.
