So yeah, it is very disappointing for me not being able to see them perform on the ice which is why I come onto you tube. But its not to go around comparing one figure skaters over another. That is not the real reason why I come here. Do you understand me?

MissThingSings and peanutbutterguy71 , I saw her perform at Cow Palace ,many years ago along with skaters like Sarah, Sasha and Irina, including Oksana Baiul. Lately I haven't seen them in shows because they don't perform that much around the Bay Area so I do miss this and many other skating shows. I don't think figure skaters perform at the Cow Palace arena anymore. And San Jose is a bit in a high crime area.

Unlike you, the people who actually know her, including some of her biggest rivals, priase her not just for her gift of skating, but also for the person that she is. You are just a pathetic, talentless wannabe who wakes up every day wishing you had 9 national and 5 world titles. Michelle SWAN. I still think if she'd stayed with Frank, the gold would have been hers. Mentally, she was never the same IMHO. But a lovely champion.

@getrealandsee Get a grip. This is SINGLES skating. You represent your country by representing yourself, as an individual. The Olympic Games were created for the exaltation of the individual athlete. When you're on the ice in front of MILLIONS of eyes, you're on your own. So her despair over losing the games once again was her own tragedy. I'm sure she had no ill will towards Hughes, but she was unhappy with herself. It was her own personal failure. You represent yourself.
