  • @SuperVideosgalore

yah at 1:02 you can see him throw them on the ground after lighting them

  • yah i think on this day one of the sensors failed because the light you see where they stop, flag, protected wasn't flashing.

    THANKS

    glad you like my channel

i don't get down to Pcola often, and i never give out dates or times when ill be coming due to you never know whos on the other line of the computer (hope you understand)

  • I hear u. Seriously, I"ve never seen it. But maybe in their defense, they always run to the Port during off hours, and the traffic lights down Taragonna Street are rigged to "flashing red" whenever the train comes by.

How often do you get to Pcola! I think your Youtube site is great, I tried to join it as a member (if I did it right!). Keep up the good work!!

  • Flares???? naw in the railroad world there called Fusee

reason they lay fusees down and flag the crossing is its F.R.A. law to flag all public crossings that dont have controlled warning devices like crossbucks, flashing lights, and gates

its an fra violation to proceed through a public road with out warning the public

and csx has a ton of fra violations against them so its no surprise that sometimes crew are too lazy to get off and flag

  • The only ones I've seen are 1110, 1115 and 1159. I think those are all switchers. I've never seen the crew use flares or flags, like in your video. Wonder why they did that day?

  • THANKS

ill have to keep that in mind.

is csx still running switcher or are they running gp's now

  • Hey: I live off Scenic Hwy and work downtown. Far as I can tell, the switch job to the Port happens late day/early evening on Tues, Thurs, and Sunday. It's so cool to see a train coming down the middle of the street! Plenty of good places to watch, too.

  • HAHA

    THANKS

i sure will one of these days

oh btw soon ill have a video of someone running a crossing.

I was takeing pictures for the site and i took a pic of their car, after the train ended they came back and asked me why i took a pic of there car and youll hear me chew them out

STAY SAFE out there elton recently a maintainer working a crossing was struck by a drunk driver
