Recycling Blues

I wish more Malaysians are aware about recycling. When I was living in the US, recycling from home was super convenient in that you could just leave your recyclables in a special bin outside your home compound and the recycle guys would come every Monday to collect them.

On the other hand, Malaysians have to drag their feet and recyclables to recycling centers (if they can actually find one) or supermarkets like Tesco and Jaya Jusco where the bins are. But really, most Malaysians couldn't be arsed so I proposed installing recycling bins at the office for everyone to use. People are always heading out to work everyday, right.

I directed this awareness video about how to recycle for an office project. It is also to inform our staff on where the new recycling bins are located. Finally, the video was broadcasted at our Earth Day event on 22nd April 2009 and made lots of people chuckle!
