Stimulated by several YouTube videos I have seen on the topic and used in a lecture about Arithmology (an ancient school of study: the theology/philosophy of numbers) where I needed to include the importance of zero in 5 minutes or less! The technical information comes primarily from Charles Seife's book "Zero: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea". The philosophy is primarily Neo-Platonic.
