@TheFolk74gd well first you hold the power button down until a thing shows up and u slide power off. Then u hold the home button for 5 secondes and after 5 secondes keep holding the button and hold the power button at the same time and then it will turn on and then the aple sign will appear then keep hold the home button and there will be an itunes page and a button that says restore and then press that and wait till everything loads and there u go i did this today and it worked.
