@flyingpowerlogitech DVI and HDMi are the same. Display port probably equal quality. What i meant is that he used a VGA monitor before this, so i was suggesting to get a new adapter for DVI from Apple.

@arnolddisco HDMI or Displayport will give you the best quality.

"brand new" and "refurbished" don't mix. by definition, refurbished means its been previously used and probably broken, then sent to a repair facility to be fixed.

weird, he says its xmas day but im watching it in april fools day LOL

How is it brand new? Or, are you saying it's new to you lol?

@jaketvee Nice, looking forward to it

You should get a mini dvi to dvi adapter to get the best quality out of that monitor.

Are you going to be doing a new room tour?

@TheTechGuy411 Yes, I'm not sure when, though. I'll be in the next few months.

Have you noticed any of the pesky dithering issues that rampantly plague this monitor in the Adobe RGB and sRGB modes?
When Dell decides to fix this problem, I'm definetely getting it. But only after the price drops to ynder $400.
$480 USD is way too much to pay for it, IMO.
Anyway, 5 ***** vid!!

@8ooO0Ooo8 I'm not expert on this, but there does seem to be a tiny amount of dithering, but it's hardly noticeable, and it's fine on the other colour modes. I got mine refurbished, from eBay, so it was much cheaper than buying it new, from Dell. It was still expensive, though, but it's a great monitor.
