Well, the inner douche that was previously subdued by the large amount of coke they were taking was exposed by the fame in 2008.

So, they were always douches, but now it's apparent.

What have they said or done to commit them to the label of douches? Is it just a personal opinion type of subject or should everyone think they are douches?

@nollafyzzil dude they sound nothing liek U2 . and the last 2 albums were amazing , i dotn understand how u can say they lost their integrity.

Yeah, no, it's a personal thing, really, I mean, I know people always throw around phrases like 'sell out' but it's really how I feel, they realised they could make a lot of money fast if they played like U2 and wore leather jackets, but they totally lost their integrity along the way. And I was SUCH a giant fan since 2004, so it's horrible to see them being so awful.
