The only way I support any sort of microtrans-actions for games like WoW would be if my proceeds went to charity. I would buy promotional pets in an instant if it went to a good cause and I really think that's what Blizzard should just keep doing. It's a tax write off and a huge on at that I'd think if they gathered the money under their business then gave it to a foundation so it pays for itself really :\

@jonasdrejerjensen they dont force you to pay for pets.!!! they have more than 100 pets that you can easyly obtain in game without having to pay on the store !!!! you dont want to pay to get companions ...JUST DONT BUY THEM no need to complain!!! yes its a marketing thing and everybody knows it but somme ppl love it and blizzard need to please them too ...its not just about you :) or if you want a special pet ask ppl and buy it from gold !!! its not like it was rarely seen in trade chat

first the game (understandebel)

then a montly fee (O.K. well you buy the game once so they must earn more over the time)

now for "exclusive items and so on

that is the reson i don't play WoW any more
