My oscars establishing whose boss

a short video of my oscars fighting over the big piece of drift wood...quite ammusing to watch and they do this every time i re-setup their tank when we move. No injuries were incurred to the fishies...pleco was hiding in his cave.

PS. both of these fish are male, so no it is not an act of mating. Also these fish have been rehomed as I immigrated to US, the new owner is very experienced so i'm happy with their new home.

i wouldnt know to be honest, i'm not really knowledgable to tell if ones female and the other is male. One is slightly darket and has dark rimmed eyes and the other is lighter with a whitish ring around its eyes. i just assumed they were both male.

Theres no way to tell male or female unless you see one of them laying eggs. I always assume mine are male too. For some reason its fitting. Again nice Oscars. :)

they've never laid eggs so i'm guessing they are both male...doesnt bother me, i assume they're male for their naming sake and then it doesnt bother me.

What fish can i add to my tank? i have 4 red belly piranhas at age 1 or more but i want another fish in it also check my piranha videos on my channel and reply what fish i can buy... reply fast.. gonna buy fish tommorow.
