@hblakely992 you wont choose. The give you a "wish list" mine was 1. chinese 2. korean 3. arabic. They took one look. looked at the class board where only farsi was starting and said good luck kid, you're learning farsi.

I'm wondering what language I'll learn. I scored high enough on the DLAB to take any language so I'm excited. I leave in May for RTC.

@KearBearKay There is a different test for you to take if you know a specific language that is usable. Ask your recruiter about it.

@KearBearKay What are your scores in Arabic? If you are 2/2 on the DLPT, they will offer your something compatible.

If I already know Arabic, but don't score higher than 110 on the DLAB, will they make me pick a dif language..? I only learned Arabic so I would know it BEFORE I joined the Navy as a CTI... j/w

@TheEpisteme you can't retake it, only if you fail, you must wait 6 months then to retake it
