Kenyan runners put on a masterful display in Punta Umbria, Spain to take home 3 out of the 4 gold medals on offer at the 2011 edition of the IAAF world cross country championships. The Kenyan contingent rounded off the superior performance by also defending the overall team title, despite losing out on the men's senior gold, in what will go down as a weakened display as compared to last year's edition in Poland, where Kenya totally dominated the field. The Kenyan national anthem played six times in front of the fervent crowd in Spain to mark a successful outing for the cross-country team in the 39th edition of the championships.

hehehe. I wonder that guy had that much energy left to throw a hard punch like that when he could have used that to burn his rivals.Ethiopians are just not lucky, Rem in 1992 another Ethiopian, haile Selassie was punched by a Kenyan on the final straight? youtube.com/watch?v=SQsWUb8zpjY .

@bethukip, Yes, it was an Ethiopian and an Eritrean. They took their own wars to Spain. They never get along. Sad! I have no idea why the Eritrean was holding the Ethiopian leg up in the air let alone punch him.
I'd like to know what the deal was with regard to the shoe.
