Hi Davie, another great video, what is the material that is tied in at 0:40? and is there any substitute to use instead of this material? thanks again!

Hi Josh(triviumlambofgod),

It's white antron yarn which is very cheap to buy, the easiest to find would be Glo-Brite Multiyarn number 16 but if you can't find this then an old pair of white laces would do the trick...All the best Davie

Hey there Davie. I have some critisism for you. This isn't a klinkhåmer. It has nothing to do with it to be honest. Hans developed the fly in long time span. It took 15 years to klinkhåmer to be what it is nowadays. I don't know if you've met Hans in person, but I can assure you he would not accept this or the CDC one as a klinkhåmer. Im in no way disrespecting or mocking you. Youre amazing. But pleace, rename the fly for parachute emerger or something like that... this isnt a klinky.

If I showed this fly to 100 fly fishers and tyers I'm sure they would call it a Klinkhamer so if I called it something else I'm sure I would a have an email the oppistite of yours asking me why I have named it something else so you are damned if you do and damned if you don't..I'm sure it's not doing anyone any harm..I appreciate what you are saying and thankyou for the kind comment...

@DavieMcPhail Thank you for your reply. I completly understand whats your point. But dont you think its wrong to "educate" people to tye wrong fly? I think its basicly the same if you tye a silver doctor and then title it as a silver rat. Anyway keep up the great work youre doing here on youtube. You give so much to the world wide fly tying community. The effort you put is probably far more greater than most think.

@basspro209 Are you a Calgarian or did you borrow Bass Pro I have been in the Calgary Store BassPro, took my boat license there last year, I fish the Bow most years and will be out there again next July and August, Calgary then Montana and back to Calgary then home to the UK. @christdethroned7 Some name you got pal, this fly has all the parts a Klinkhammer should have ok so it is not the same colours as Hans Van tied years ago, that friend is a Fly Tyers Perogative, Variatons are what takes fish.

On a friendly note keep silly remarks to yourself, in essence it is a Klinkhammer and Davie was far too polite in his reply to you. I further suggest that on your own behalf you pay a visit to the taxidermist.
