I stayed in the Hotel California back in 1994. My husband booked us a room there, but at that time, I didnt know anything about this history or even the meaning of the Eagles song. I will tell you this, that place had a creep factor. You walk in and you just get this bad feeling. The murals, and the gothic style, just had a negative vibe. The rooms are very old, old fixtures, and I felt like I was being watched sometimes. That was an experience I'll never forget
