@ventscanner I actually figured out why they do it. The solenoid's don't take much to power up. I hooked up my stock high beams into the harness as well and doesn't stick at all! So I'm guessing I'll need to wire in a 2 amp resistor or something to trick it into thinking there's a bulb. Maybe this will help you out?

hey! did you have any issues with the high beams sticking on? and if so, how did you fix it?? I've got the morimoto mini-h1 kit but the solenoid won't kick off when I switch back to low beams.

@aetommyboy I have this issue as well. I believe they have fixed it with newer versions of the projector. Once the headlights are together, there is no real way to fix it. Before you seal them up, you can spray a small amount of WD-40 or some lubricant onto the solenoid.
When mine stick, I just bump the high-beams a few times until they pull down again.
