@Balou94 And all the people talking are usually from schools whose bands weren't doing anything then and aren't doing anything now. Not to mention that most of them are not exactly doing anything fresh themselves
@SonicBoomC98 No one is SLOWWWWW except for the way this band is a repeat of it's band 500 years ago. Reinvent yourself!!! Those who watch all the marching tapes will tell you the same thing. If you look at JSU from 40 years ago it looks the same as now. JSU was my band of choice of #1 for years until everything started to look the same. The music changed but everything stayed the same.
@ANIGHTMARE2UDEVILS He's slow he can't help it LOL. Plus, I don't know what bands he has ever watched if he does not know when a band is doing follow the leader and when they're not. Plus, I imagine whatever band he is a fan of probably does follow the leader drills. FAMU uses them in parts and Corp Style bands do it as well
i love it and always will...stop hatin Balou94...its call TRADITION and look up out history and you will see that we have been invited to and showed out in many place...dont hate us cuz we are worldwide (nation/internation) and you probably come from somewhere that is ONLY statewide....also let me invite you to the ATL on JANUARY 24, 2009...the BOOM will be there live and in color...everywhere we go...we SHOW UP and SHOW OUT....MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY YEAR YEAR....see ya in the GA DOME....lol.
Show me a drill were "noone depends on noone", thats why its called a marching "band"(together)...and if you think all it takes to do these drills is "follow the leader" then you really don't know about drilling...it takes 2 step spacing, guiding, 8 to 5, pinwheels, slants(1,3,5,7 or 2,4,6,8)kill step, step 2,or step 1, and a lot of other fundamentals your probably not even aware of to do a presision drill.
i went to soldan international studies high school from 2003-2005 and we played that fanfare when they ran onto the field and we played that same arrangement of the temptations song but i forgot what it was called
