Vertical Axis Turbine

Made on 1/17/06 this was a short clip due to having a bad camera at the time, which was sill floppy disk feed. Sorry about that, I still have this turbine if you want to see it in real action just tell me. Anyway the day was quite good around 1-4 knots of steady wind, which was good for a average day. Sunny mainly with a bit of overcast.

The turbine itself is made of balsa and landfill liner for the airfoil outfit itself. Inside the axis was held on a iron rod that held a bike wheel that spun it around 45-125 revs. a minute. The generator that ran on friction was DC at 1.2 AMPS.
