Imported using Toad's Tool 64 v0.6 (to be released before the end of the year).

Thanks to Breegullbeak for posting the .obj file in our forum for ANYONE to use.

Thanks to Cooliscool from the Rare Witch Project for creating Bootle's Glasses which enabled .OBJ exporting from Banjo Kazooie.

Thanks to Frauber (aka messiaen) who provided the extended RAM patch needed for my importer to work with such a big level.

Banjo Kazooie includes a much more powerful graphic engine, and can do thing like fading texture layers and supports higher resolution textures, so the level doesn't look exactly the same in SM64.

Another big problem is that the SM64 collision engine is flaky and Mario can fall through the ground in many places in the level.

  • a few Q.

    1. why is the grass gray?

    2. wheres the water?

    3. why is banj.. i mean mario falling in the ground?

    4. why do love this song?

    5. why is gruntys lair entry creepy?

    6. WHY IS A SCARY MEXICAN COMMENT UNDER ME?!

  • @alwaysluna89

    1. Because when I made the video I hadn't implemented vertex coloring. I did later with the help of Cooliscool but didn't make a video with it.

    2. Water is a separate object that wasn't exported by the Bootle's Glasses tool.

    3. Because SM64 collision system is flaky and has some limit on the number of collision polygons?

    4. You played this game as a kid and it brings a nostalgic feeling?

    5. Ask Rare.

    6. Welcome to Youtube.
