nope. its covered by the engine cage. just uscrew the cage, unsckrew around the exaugst pipe, take it out,then put everything back togather, less back up= faster moving engine. its a loader noise but well worth it. and i have a pipe on mine and it works alot bter, but not worht $20. i triend taking out the filter and it goes knda faster but not worth loosing ur engine to dirt and stuff. so a bigger one would def. be better. and same thing about the cops down here in PA. do what i said, let me no

What brand of engine is in that thing? Oh, and did you "straight pipe" it?

The engine is an off make from some japanese manuf. I didn't straight pipe it yet, the seam on the gas tank split and I have to take it off, find the leak, and epoxy it.

dude if u want to make it faster just unskrew the engin cage and take out the exaugst pipe so its just a hole.. faster and it sounds cooler.

Is the cylinder exhaust hole exposed if you do that??? I hear you can buy pipes for them that make them go real fast, and also that you can drill some holes in the mufflers? I want to find a way to put a bigger air intake/filter on it...the stock filter/air intake is tiny. That thing is fast...the cops are all over us and it's not legal here in NY
