VINTAGE 80'S RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU'RE SURE DEODORANT COMMERCIAL

If this commercial doesn't make you want to raise your hand, nothing will! However, aren't most of these people actually raising their ARMS? I swear, this is one of those jingles i find myself singing in the shower.

That was pretty good. I'm 80 years old and I have Alzheimer's disease from the aluminum in Sure deodorant but that's still a pretty good commercial.

Gotta love how it shows the Statue of Liberty with its arm raised. Nothing says patriotism like clean armpits. *tear rolls down*

Hard to believe a jingle about deodorant could be so rousing. It certainly makes you thankful that no such jingle was used for the Massengill "Do you douche?" commercials.

I remember someone on TV back the day talking about this commerical, and they mentioned that it was 45 seconds long back then. Interestingly, when I went looking for the commercial today, that helped me narrow it down pretty quickly.

Interesting, I just noticed the commercial is actually 45 seconds long. Wonder why the unusual time length. Great, energetic music - I remember it well. They sure don't make them like this anymore. Today there are too many channels and everyone has a remote control. No one will stick around and watch commercials like this anymore. Advertisers have to get the message delivered fast and finish fast. Otherwise the viewer is gone.
