  • About how many eggs do you get a day?

  • @asevansTM3 four dozen give or take, more in spring, fewer in mid-winter.... Rhode Island Reds, Barred Plymouth Rocks and Rose Combs have proven to be my best winter layers...

  • I used to watch these videos every day before I had chickens! Now I have had mine for a few months & they're seriously cool animals! We have a good bond & it feels like Christmas morning every day when I go out and collect their eggs!

  • @happymimi16 Wow... that's wonderful! I'm so glad you have your own flock now and can enjoy them ("> I think you know by now that they can capture our attention for hours at a time... thank you for posting this comment!

  • love your mille fluers1

  • @hmglis Thank you so much!

  • I really enjoyed watching this video - if only more animals lived such good and free lives :-)

  • Cool. Ive been giving them all natural yogurt lately. My rooster was recently involved in a serious battle with a redtail. I was 100% sure he was gonna die. He would'nt eat anything! Shock and a pretty bad puncture wound almost got the best of him. So I got some all natural plain yogurt and used an eye dropper. Soon as he tasted the yogurt he started eating, drinking, and making his usual noises. He made a full recovery in about a weak and a half. I swear by yogurt for an injured chicken/rooster
