  • Hello and welcome to Chatham (UK)Salvation Army videos. Yes we did play Anthem of the Free and Red Shield in Buck.House forecourt it was a great privilege. Unfortunately the programme was foreshortened by heavy rain (it does that in England)hence the overcoats. The SA Crest(Badge) in the US has the eagles but UK has always been the crown. God Bless you. Subscribe to chathamsaband and hear more as the repertoire is increased. Peter Wood

  • What a great thrill to hear Red Shield and to see your combined Bands at the Palace.

    Blessings on your ministry!

  • The Red Shield has to be the best army march ever. Among so many others that is!

  • The marches here, if I remember correctly, are 'The Red Shield' and 'Anthem of the Free'.

From a bandsman that used to play in Los Angeles Congress Hall band many years ago. We had eagles on the crest then.
