I made a video showing the process when I draw a cartoon for those of you who like to see artists at work - a little speeded up, of course.

  • im not sure what i have done here i think i sent you a message?

  • @flanangantheflower you sent med a video respone which I had to approve and I have now. Haven't had time to watch it yet, but will...

  • a cartoonist is on paper ... i think?

  • @flanangantheflower Well, not necessarily these days:) There are those working purely digital but I still like the tactile sensation of the paper as a material...

  • Yes, but according to himself, old man Moses didn´t draw on his tablets himself. Perhaps he had a programme to do it for him:)

But seriously; yes, I think we will continue to draw the old way for a long, long time still - although I have seen monitors on which you can draw directly and then you til them, too, so they are like a table.

  • Thanks .... I prefer paper, pencil and pen myself ... informative and inspiring ...it let me know I'm on the right track as my procedure is quite similar ...

  • I agree with you there is nothing more satisfying than drawing with pen and paper... I've never used a tablet , in fact I've never seen one work , although I do believe Moses had a few .....
