@AmericanDroid obviously not much of a drum guy, french/german is how far up or down your hands/palms are turned. If the thumbs face up more, it's french, and if the top of your hand faces up, its german. It goes alot more in depth than that, but thats the general idea.

@AmericanDroid Yessir, I am fan of the french side of american grip but I have marched in lines that use a more german aproach to quads. This is pretty much completely german.

@AmericanDroid Yes, but no use critiquing a drumline that doesn't exist anymore (playerwise) for all I know they could have gotten a new director/tech who uses a more comfortable/efficient style.

Such unnattractive tenor technique, not sure if this is the way they were taught or they are just bad, also tenor line seems like they play forte for days.
