  • A look at the past. An America that is gone and will never return.

    I was a kid in the 1940s. No computers then.  Not even ball point pens.

    No cell phones, video games, malls or condos. No silly putty, atom bombs,

    automatic transmissions or cake mixes.

    America was the greatest industrial and military power in the world. People

    were confident about the future. Anyone with a steady job, like gas

    station attendant, elevator operator, or dime store clerk, could afford a

    house and a pet.

  • @thehorseshoecurve It's real easy to find, just look for the miniature power plant which is close to the handrail, and the bridge model will be right next to it.
