I'm glad GOLDFRAPP has become as big as they are now, and admired the artistic bravery they showed in BLACK CHERRY, completely departing from their debut album's style (which features this out-of-this-world song).

Still,the clip info starting with "She doesn't play it nowadays..." leaves me feeling strange,as FELT MOUNTAIN is one of the bigges musical shocks I have experienced in my life. I know it so well I had to refrain myself from listening to it at a point.

Now people hardly know about it!

Felt Mountain is one of the greatest albums ever made. I love all the tracks, it's kinda take a train to nowhere and get loose in the middle. Such a dream, an unknown state.

From what I heard, "Seventh tree" is supposed to return to the moods and colors of Felt Mountain... but I'm sort of afraid to listen to it, because one just doesn't experience the kind of revelation Felt Mountain has been to me twice... So even if "Seventh tree" is good (I first wrote "even if it's god" !).. even if it's very good... I dont want to feel tired of Goldfrapp ;-)

Goldfrapp is this kind of versatile band. Every album is a different chapter, so far away from the others. From trip-hop to electroclash and from glam rock to acoustic. Love it.

it is like shes dying there singing , that shout sing part gave me chills since the first time i heard it , the entire piece has that sad dark emotion for me , its simply a live demonstartion of one the most creative artists in music and i really admire and respect them because they can create enviroments very diferent each one to the other , diferent moods ,but always so passionate, im so glad their comming to play live in late june here im my city ,now with the head first magic.

I love them so so so much, specially how they started off with this incredible album then did the more up-beat stuff. I mean nowadays all the girls of electronic pop-ish music just seem to have started with it and it's never even nearly as good as anything goldfrapp came up with. Little Boots isn't awful but her spacey theme just doesn't cut it. It just annoys me, the whole "she writes her songs!" thing when she's not nearly as good as goldfrapp are. It's so strange, how you can get so hyped

I do admire them for that versatility, but just couldn't bring myself to enjoy it when the following albums came out.

While watching those live performances of FELT MOUNTAIN songs showed me how exciting GF can be on stage, numerous comments also encouraged me to have another go at BLACK CHERRY especially... and maybe at the subsequent one (significantly, I don't even recall the title, just that it has Oh la la on it!)

I should have that much curiosity left in me and more than owe it to GF ! ;-)
