(i am watching this high) and this scene alone is sooo penetrating to the mind if you really pay attention to what is going on!! i love the astronauts facial reaction to the setting he was in. what would you do in the situation that he is in?

My thought exactly. I think it's just that Pink Floyd fans can't help thinking of this song bein in the movie. It wouldn't look so good if the characters are running down spaceship corridors to the tune of Arnold Layne.
