i made this mistake, excuse - only riding to the shops, bearing in mind i was wearing jeans, i dit have a gortex jacket on, disloted my knee, lost all the skin on my knee, and toulk a large gash out of my side aprox 5 mm deep 70 mm long and 30mm wide. cirtanly taught me a lesson.
