All remixes I've heard so far from this song ruin the song's build and dynamics.

I like the effort but I'd like you to listen to Iridium's remix of Blake's "Holding on". THAT is one way how you can remix a slow song and still respect the original dynamics.

In short: you don't need to start a slow song with BOOM, BOOM, BOOM.
