Brings me back to the 50's listening to the Foley family on the radio. No tv then.

This tune was used as the signature tune for a Family Drama serial on Radio Eireann (Ireland's National radio service) in the 1950s and '60s. It was called "The Foley Family" and starred Peg Monaghan and George Greene as Alice and Tom Foley.
