Over May Day bank holiday each year the Pine Tree Light Railway holds PTLRfest, its annual big gala, with visiting locos from across the country. This year was no different with 2 major exceptions

1) it didnt rain!
2) There was sooooooooo much more line to run on due to this being the first PTLRfest since the opening of the Pine Tree Light Railway's Northern Extension into next doors garden!

Present were a number of very fine locos built by master loco builder Peter Angus (who also visited us for the big day), a couple of coal fired beasties and a plethora of other locos owned and operated by the North West Area Group of the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers.

A Great day was had by all who attended.

  • When its the opening scene, who made the ffestiniog locomotive at 0:16?

  • 'Little Giant'is one of Peter angus's very fine models. We were fortunate to have the builder in attendance as he was on holiday in the area at the time!
